A Rollercoaster of Emotions
This book will give you an insight on the true realities faced in the foster care system. The author shares so much of her life, and reading this will bring out a rollercoaster rush of deep emotions. I commend Amiri for her strength, determination, and drive to tell her story and be her own hero. Looking forward to more future projects by her!!

The story of this young lady is very eye opening to how brutal the foster care system is and can be. Very emotional book. Once I started reading the book, I could not put it down. It was well written. I felt a lot of the emotions of the author through her writing.

IT IS REAL!! Amiri described her story so well and it's real in her life, it's not a story but you're reading her life. People thought everyone has same old stories to share with like the best thing ever in their life, but her story is way beyond that, you have to read it so you could feel it. This is an amazing book! I could not put it down! I read the book from front to cover in one sitting. The author told her brave, untold truths about her life in the foster care system as well as her home life and clearly showed how hard working and strong she is by overcoming all of it. I know this story will inspire many others as much as it did me, and it will definitely help anyone else who has gone/is going through any of the similar instances and show that it is possible to rise up and still be successful and driven despite their discouraging surroundings. Great book and also a great writer!
